The port is always booming with ships, traders, and adventurers. There is never a dull moment in the port. You notice that the port is divided into three sections.
On the far right, the ships docked look like merchant vessels, each carrying a different cargo, each with a different look and feel. You can tell most of these ships are from a distant land.
In the middle, are the transport ships and common sailing vessels. There are many different types and races, You can tell some are elfish in appearance and you think one might even be a Dwarf ship, it looks strange to you. There are at least 50 ships in this part but stranger is that many docks are empty
The Royal Fleet is stationed on the other side, at least 100 ships. You can also see the Dock-masters House. He is a tall man, stalky, and weathered. He has a grumbly tone to his voice and seems pissy but dock workers tell you that he is actually quite personable. You see him shouting orders and making his rounds taking collection for today’s rent. He passes you and give you a slight nod and then goes about his business.
You smell the salt air, it stings your nostrils but in a good way. You hear the waves crash upon the beams of the dock. The seagulls squawk over head. The boards creek beneath your feet. Nothing beats coming to the port and watching the action of everyday life...
